Meet Chef Amy.
Owner and Executive Chef
Chef Amy’s background is heavily infused into event menus, where local fresh ingredients and memorable cuisine is top priority and many of her secret recipes are long-standing client favorites. Chef Amy loves the daily challenges and team atmosphere at A Cut Above that fosters a true family atmosphere.

Owner/Operations Manager
Originally from New York, Dave has an invaluable work ethic and infectious positive attitude. As he oversees the daily operations at A Cut Above Catering, he is also an owner and husband to Chef Amy. This enthusiastic Giants fan motivates the team by empowering them to do well and is always working right alongside them, leading by example. Every fork and every packed truck that goes out to events is cared for due to his diligence and thoughtful precision. Dave enjoys spending time with the family and golfing.
Lex Bray
Operations Assistant/Banquet Captain
Lex comes from a theatre background and loves to showcase her skills in event set ups. She has an eye for design and brings any area to life. She spends her time with girlfriend and her dog Chica.
Emily Van Zandbergen
Event Coordinator - Weddings
Emily is a vibrant soul with an unique view of the wedding industry. She helps bring our couples the day they have dreamed of! Emily hails from Fort Wayne. She loves all things nerdy, especially Marvel!
Shoshana Lowinsky
Event Coordinator - Corporate and Social
Shoshana's bright energy is what makes our social and corporate events stand out from the rest. A graduate of IU Bloomington, she has degrees in Event Management and French as well as years of experience in the hospitality industry. Shoshana is passionate about making her clients visions come to life, and always strives for perfection and professionalism. A born-and-raised Hoosier, she is an expert when it comes to all the best food and drink spots around town. When she’s not working, she likes to travel and spend time with her dog Snooki, and her cats Zola and Teddy.
Jackie Gaff
Office Manager/Banquet Captain
Jackie has been a server and bartender with us since 2017, made the move to office manager in August of 2021. In her free time she loves cuddling with her cats (Batman & Robin) and catching Pokémon with her husband.
